Mid-term Evaluation for Our Long Term Volunteers – Service Civique

Mid-term Evaluation for Our Long Term Volunteers – Service Civique

In the month of April 2019, FSL-India’s LTV Bangalore region organised a Midterm Evaluation (MTE) for our Service Civique Long-term volunteers at Pondicherry.

The event took place on 25th and 26th April 2019 at Pondicherry. 5 Volunteers from Service Civique France participated in the evaluation.

The main objective of the MTE is to evaluate the volunteer’s learnings and contributions to their projects, in order to develop appropriate strategies to attain quality results. Secondly, it is also to create a platform for volunteers to evaluate the progress made in their projects based on the expected outcome. Lastly, it helps to make space for our volunteers to identify and express the new learnings/knowledge/skills gained during the program and to reflect on how it can be helpful in the future.

FSL-India’s LTV team organised different activities like personal development, outlook on the future, project challenges and progress, cultural and intercultural learning and a baseline survey. We also conducted some games and energisers to make the evaluation more interesting.
