Description for Pre Puberty

The program aims to teach the girl children that the biological is very common for a girl or a woman and they have to feel very proud of it.

The sessions went on Mathur and Sennakuppam Schools and 59 girl children participated in the program. The girls were made aware of biological and physical differences; the physical growth step by step and age by age; what is happening biologically when the girls getting older; changes happening in every part of the physical body of the girls; changes happening emotionally; how the normal changes are. Activity on drawing the girl outline activity and filling up with all main functional parts activity was conducted.

 

Description for Post Puberty

The session was aimed to provide to teach children the biological aspects and functions and also to come out shyness by talking about the vagina. Totally 160 children from Sennakuppam participated in the program. The girls were made aware of biological aspects of the menstruation; what is happening biologically when the girls gets menstruation, what are the physical parts of body getting involved in the process; how the menstrual bleeding happens etc. were explained to the girls by drawing a vagina with colorful clay.
