The Bangalore region organised LTV get-together at AIKYA in Bangalore on 13^th and 14^th. November 2014. Altogether 13 volunteers from Bangalore Region participated in the program.  The LTV team of FSL-India facilitated the get-together.

The underlying objective of the get-together is to asses the progress on the inter-cultural learning and project activities assigned to each volunteer. Activities in the Project, Host Family skit and one-to-one talk with coordinators were the major activities facilitated during the program. It was also an occasion for volunteers to share their experience with others on their project work, progress made and results achieved.  The volunteers also could share their Inter-cultural experience with each other through the host family skit presentation.  During one-to-one talk with the respective coordinators, volunteers discussed some the challenges they faced in the projects and they were further motivated by coordinators.

  

Ms. Sowmya, the vice president of Aikya Centre addressed the volunteer on “Organic Farming. Indicating its importance, Ms. Sowmya shared her perspective on organic food. Later volunteers and coordinators had an exposure visit to organic farming in the agricultural field.
