What does culture mean to you? How much are you governed by your culture in everyday life? How do your cultural ties or cultural expectations affect you in your everyday life?

The Youth Development Programme (YDP) of FSL-India wants to explore exactly that.

Cultural relativity is key!

In a country that is constantly evolving and changing, understanding the self in relation to culture, and understanding the self’s culture in relation to India, and the rest of the world is an important tool in social, academic and professional settings.

We’re hosting a three part series on intercultural understanding based on experiential learning methods for you to explore yourself and your Indian identity, as well as rediscover the massive amount of diversities and different realities all around you.

The first meeting, in December, will focus on the I (the self) – where you will be invited to take a deeper look into YOUR perception of Indian culture.

Details:
Date and Time: 21st December 2013 from 14:00 – 19:00
Location:
FSL-India, #453, 1st Floor, 15th Cross, Lakkasandra, Wilson Garden, Bangalore-560030, India

As we move forward, questions of the We and the Global Community will be explored.

These meetings will be facilitated as independent modules, so you can pick which ones to attend. However, we encourage you to attend all three as this would give the most wholesome experience.

This is a chance for you to not only explore yourself and your identity but to also meet new people from different backgrounds and understand their identities!

Make sure you register with us by the 19th of December to confirm your participation as this will work on a first come, first serve basis!

To register, send us an E-mail at: fslydp@gmail.com with your name and phone number. Remember to do it soon!
