Health & Hygiene session in Training Center.
It is great news to let you all know about our new Health & Hygiene session for local youth in FSL India Training Center.
This month, 53 boys from 10th standard- Mookambika High School (Mavinakatte) benefited from the sessions conveyed by doctors from KMC- Manipal Hospital. They are developing interesting activity-based sessions to bring up topics that in their society might be a taboo, such as personal hygiene, changes experienced during adolescence time, prevention of suicide, stress management, importance of searching for help and communication of personal challenges to support group (family, school members or NGOs).
The boys engaged in the sessions from 10 am to 4 pm and enjoyed delicious lunch in our Training Center. The headmaster of the school accompanied them during all the sessions.
After this successful session, we are looking forward for next one in January!
