Environment:
In this workcamp, we had 13 international volunteers. Our team leader aided the volunteers to achieve their satisfaction and fulfillment that they seek through volunteerism. The volunteers actively took part in various activities in the Forsythgang government primary school, the activities are renovating school wall, school wall painting and educational drawing. The volunteers also involved in cleaning the bushes in the school and planted the trees.
The volunteer spread awareness to the public on Keep your city clean by cleaning the Dharamkot road with local ngo called Waste Warriors. The volunteers also involved in other activities like created awareness to the school children on health hygiene and assisting the teacher to teach basic basic English and maths to the children. There are 40 children and 3 teachers benefited from this camp.
As part of their inter-cultural learning the volunteers spent their time in sight seeing in Dharamsala. The volunteers visited to a Hindu temple, waterfalls, Dalai Lama Temple, museum, TIPA and Tibetan children village. The volunteers also took part in international cooking.
