In the month of August 2016, FSL Bangalore region organized for a Cultural Event at Mysore under Culture Theme.

Mysore: Theme: Culture: In Mysore zone there were around three volunteers who participated in the Culture Event. Our Mysore FSL Coordinator took the three Volunteers to Chamundi hills. (Chamundi hill is located 13km east of Mysore). The temple has a quadrangular structure. A key feature is the statue of Mahishasura bearing a sword in his right hand and a cobra in left hand. She is seated with her right heel pressed against the lowest of the seven chakras).

 Mysore Market: Market is an apt place to get a flavour of the local people’s daily life with more than 100 years of history this market is well knitted into the heritage of Mysore. This is a good sample of a traditional Indian market place which is so colourful, noisy and lively.

After the Visit Our FSL Coordinator had discussion with the volunteers and discussed about their Volunteering experience.
