FSL India: As a Corporate Social Responsibility implementing agency of Hyundai steel Company has done Appropriate Technology and Development project in Sengadu Village Panchayat, Sriperumbudur Block and Kancheepuram District.

As a project component with the theme of Sanitation, A Low cost Toilet was designed and constructed in the Individual houses with the criteria selection.  Totally 12 Numbers of Toilets were constructed. The main advantage of the Low cost Toilet is easily afforadable, adaptable, sustainable and can construct in the limited place.  This low cost Toilet can be easily dismantle and also suitable for all seasonal weather condition. The construction is not required maximum two bucket of water, No maximum labour is required, within 2 hours one toilet construction can be finished, No big transport is required for shifting the construction materials.

The maximum People were benefitted by this low cost toilet instead of normal brick toilet construction.  The ratio is 3:1 (i.e. 3 Low cost Toilets can be constructed with the Budget spend for 1 Brick based Toilets).
