Bangalore Orientation-Nov 2016.

In the month of November 2016, FSL India Bangalore has hosted 1 Long Term Volunteer (LTV) from Germany. Volunteer has gone through different sessions to be well prepared for his successful journey in India.

Regarding the orientation, we had developed the activities which we usually carry out during the orientation week covered the following sessions: Indian welcome, Expectation and Fears, Conflict in communication, Safety, Understand Cultural Indicator, Introduction about FSL India, Indian lifestyle, and Social concerns of India, project information and Indian pedagogy, volunteer’s role and responsibility.

* Yes, definitely! I learned a lot about India, got a lot of information.

* Language class is really important, also the self-reflection of the volunteers, is a really good way to make them think about their work by themselves (‘role & responsibility in host family, project etc”).

* Good talk: Talking with host mother, all the information stuff.
