LTV orientation, October- Bangalore

In the month of October, FSL India hosted 10 Long Term Volunteers from 5 different countries (Germany, Austria, France, Sweden, and Turkey).

Every evening we have organised different events for the exchange of Intercultural learning. First day was  traditional Indian welcome , all the volunteers had chance to have Henna, Meanwhile volunteers had the opportunity to test their skills by working in a project for half day during the week. Volunteers were also presented the facts and figures of their countries to the school children during “Country Presentation” session. They had chance to saw the Cultural dance “Barathnatyam”. They cooked there country food.

 I think the orientation was really good.

Great we just would talk to each other in a nice and friendly way.

Very very good, everybody gets along with each other the activities done together helped us to understanding more our responsibility the time for the question was peeled!!

Absolutely yes, got many information, practice and soft entrance to Indian life style.

Yes, it’s good to have so many nice people around yourself who can help you understand the first impression in a different country. All topics were well proved and presented.

Yes, very much it feels like I’ve been introduced to India in a good way and I feel ready to more and go to my project.
