Apparently get together for long–term volunteers primarily focussed on getting to know the progress on the inter-cultural learning and project activities assigned to each volunteer. Project portrait, one-to-one talk with coordinators and skit presentation were the major input during the get together. Indeed this event gave the volunteers opportunity to share their experience, project work, progress made and results achieved. It was also time to find solutions to the common problems that they encounter in the projects, share the best practices in voluntary services and get motivated for future work.

Mrs Vandana, the Talent Management Coordinator of FSL-India conducted a session on Tribal Art of various Tribes in Karnataka State such as Halakki, Banjara, Thodas, Hakki Pikki and Soligas. Mrs Vandana also conducted a special session on principles of Gita in Management. Out of 18 chapters and 700 enchanting verses in Gita, she could explain about a few chapters and verses, which applies to the modern management system. Tribal performance in Gorukana was one of the important events during the get together in Bangalore region. As part of the Tribal Flavour Get Together, VGKK arranged tribal dance performance in Gorukana which is an eco-tourism place resides in BR Hills. The performance was organised at a small amphitheatre around the bonfire. It was presented by Mr. Basavaraj and his tribal group.

During one-to one talk with the respective coordinators and volunteers discussed on the challenges they encountered in the projects. Volunteers also had lots of fun games during get together and enjoyed themselves.
