German donates Dustbin – Udayavani Sudhina, 17th February 2020

FSL India and Yuva Brigade, Karvikeri jointly conducted an awareness programme for the Karvikeri riverside community on keeping the river clean. Kundapura Municipality area, Karvikeri have decided to place a dustbin at the riverside. FSL India’s volunteer Jan Muhle from Germany has donated the dustbin.

At Ulthuru, the Temple Management Committee decided that the Chariot festival would be completely plastic-free from next year. The Ulthuru Temple Management Committee members Bojaraj Shetty, Mohandas Shetty, Dinesh Shetty, FSL India’s Dinesh and Charan from ILA projects attended the Chariot festival at Ulthuru.

We are Jang Seeun and Daeum Kim from South Korea. We had an opportunity to visit India, especially Kundapura to do a 2-week work camp at Centre for Experiential Living – FSL India, Shettrakatte. In the month of February 2020, FSL India’s LTV Bangalore region organised a Midterm Evaluation (MTE) for our Pondicherry, Bangalore, Mysore and Kanchipuram Long Term Volunteers at Pondicherry. The event took place between 26th-28th February 2020, at Pondicherry. In Pondicherry, there were around 22 volunteers from AFS, GRC and IJGD Germany who took part in the evaluation.
