Day 5: 20th Happy Move Camp, Anantpur – 3rd February 2018

It was the final day of the project at Rapadu village – the day for completion of all the activities initiated in the village by KIA Motors Company, South Korea, Hyundai Motors India Foundation, Better World Organization (BWO), South Korea and FSL-India.

It was also the day for the celebration of the fulfillment of the commitment by the Korean volunteers and the students of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

It was a colorful day both for both the schoolchildren and the volunteers, due to the intercultural exchange through different performances by both nationalities.

After completion of all activities in the school and community in the morning, all of them gathered for different kinds of performances on the stage.The intercultural performance began in the afternoon and it was inaugurated by the Village Sarpanch (Head).

Important dignitaries, i.e. Mr Shin, Deputy Manager and Mr.Teahwa, General Manager from Kia Motors, Mr Daekun, Program Manager, BWO, Sri Sreenivasulu, Mandal Parishad Development Officer-Anantapur, Sri Janardhanacharyulu, District Education Officer-Anantapur, Sri Venkataramulu, Sarpanch, Raptadu Mandal-Anantapur, Mr Prahlad Rao, Principal, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Anantapur, Mr Rakesh Soans, President and Mr C Doreswamy, Joint Director from FSL-India were present and appreciated the work done by the volunteers.

Later, children from the school performed a dance, sang songs and also performed a Bharatanatyam dance.

The Korean volunteers performed different songs, dances and traditional Korean music. There was a special performance of Korean culture.

In the evening, there was a Indo-Korean (InKo) exposition.

A group of Indian female volunteers wore the traditional Indian dress of Saree and the male volunteers wore Dhotis.

A Henna session was conducted for the Korean volunteers.

Traditional dishes were served during the events and traditional games were demonstrated in groups.
