On 25th January 2018, Victoria Lovelock (Vicky) – Director, CCIVS, France (our network partner) visited FSL-India’s Centre for Experiential Living (CEL), Kundapura. This was a mainly a recce trip for the forthcoming General Assembly of CCIVS, as well as the 70th-anniversary celebrations of CCIVS, which will be held at Kundapura, in November this year.
The FSL-India staff welcomed her in true Indian style and introduced her to FSL-India’s Home Based Projects (HBP) – Sustainable Agriculture, Sea Turtle Conservation, and the Tent School.
Rakesh Soans, President of FSL-India and the CEL staff took Vicky on an extensive tour of our Training Centre, HBP and other projects in Kundapura.
Vicky visited the SAP-K area and the HBP team explained in detail about the activities carried out here. She observed the work done by the previous as well as the present volunteers and was very happy to know about the growth of the Centre and the various projects.
