Greetings from CEL! Here we are from FSL-India’s Centre for Experiential Living, Kundapur and we want to let you know about all the things that have been happening during this last month, at our place.
FSL-India hosted a huge orientation week for around 70 new volunteers, who will be working on our projects, all over South India, from 1 month to 1 year! In this orientation, they learned about Indian culture, the project they will be supporting, Indian ways of transport, health and safety, some local language and even practised how to eat with their hands!
FSL-India also hosted a work camp, in which a volunteer taking part in it is engaging in sustainable agriculture activities along with our new SAP-K volunteers, who started their work at our Centre nearly 2 weeks ago.
In addition, FSL-India hosted some international guests who stayed at our Centre and got involved in the gardening activities, planting several flower plants, which decorate our dining hall now.
We also count on the work of our interns – more than 5 coming in and out this month, from Delhi and Mysore. Some of them left this month, but a few more are coming soon!
So, as you can see, loads of people are visiting our Centre and having wonderful experiences here. If you are thinking of visiting, do not hesitate – do it now!
This October, we are conducting our International Team Leader Training for the 4th time and our Adventure Winter Camp for the 2nd time. Contact us if you want to know more about these events!
