The FSL India extended its CSR hand with Better World Organisation – South Korea, Hyundai Motor Company – South Korea and Hyundai Motors India from 2008 onwards as HAPPY MOVE CAMP.
The collaboration recently reached successfully the 17th Happy Move camp conducted in Delhi between 10th July – 21st July 2016. The EDCH activities such as Plantation ,Gardening , Panting, Cleaning Education activities in School & Monuments organised in four areas Jantar Mandhar & Lodhi Estate, Hauz khas & R.K Puram, Purana Quila & Laxmi bai Nagar, Qutub Minar & Mandhi Marg.
Nearly 109 Korean participants including 5 employees of HMC, 1 Team Nurse and remaining 96 Korean students along with 24 Indian volunteers from KCC attended the camp in four areas. Apart from field services, the participants had undergone different Intercultural experiences such as INKO Workshop (cultural demonstrations of two countries). In this work shop Indian volunteers were involved in putting up the mehandi in the hands of koreans, wearing Indian Cultural dress, giving recipes of making Ball meetai even by serving Ball mattai to trigger their taste buds etc and also vice versa from Korean culture like 5 stone Playing, Korean art in Hand fan ,Writing names & tattoo pasting on each hands.
The 17th HMC 2016 ended up with happy note of sending off the korean volunteers by giving off the grant farewell in JP Hotel. The memories carried forward towards the 18th HMC for much happiest moments…
