Last Friday October 9th, Our HBP volunteers and staff had a busy day attending different events.First of all, we participated in Beach Cleaning Day at Kodi Beach in Kundapur along with college students and members of the Rotary Club and other social organisations.

FSL-India, Kundapur organized beach cleaning day at Padukere beach near Kota with collaboration of local village Panchayath, Rotary club, NSS unit of Government First grade college of Kata-Padukere, MSW Dept. Tenkanedeyru, Janatha fish meal & products. Program inaugurated by Local Business men Mr. Anand Kunder and he addressed the gather by explaining importance of beach cleaning and role of community people .

On Sunday 13th of September an event was conducted, which is very important in the history of YDP.  It is organised in “Maria” outdoor center. The young people from the Steering Committee of YDP met to set up a new and fruitful plan to be an active source of social change.

In this workcamp, we had 4 international volunteers.The volunteers actively took part in various activities in the Heeru government primary school, the activities are  school wall painting and school kitchen painting.

Health Mela program organized by FSL India under the Apollo Tyre’s Health & Hygiene CSR Project on 29th September 2015 in government higher secondary school, Mathur, Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu. It was inaugurated by Dr.Sathyamoorthy Chief Guest from Apollo Foundation.

Last Tuesday, September 23rd was another important day in our training centre due to a big improvement in our vermi-composting activities. We released 5 kg of worms which will help to create powerful, free of cost and organic fertilizer for the plants and trees we have in our field.

Mr. Jakob Sedlmair, Germany provided his valuable service in our home for the orphan and destitute, children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Mental Retardation & Multiple Disabilities by teaching, assisted in special school, trained our students in various games and recreational activities, contributed in various events organized by our Organization during the service, and involved in the daily routine activities of our home and in various recreational activities for the orphan children.

The cultural visit held on 18th September with an Italy volunteer who came in March and working with us for the past 6 month.  One of the program in FSL called cultural visit where we take our regular volunteer to any cultural and historical places which is located in or around Chennai. Our Coordinator took volunteer to a temple named Singa Perumal Temple. The famous Lord Narasimha Temple is on top of the small hill known as ‘Padalathri”. The deity…
