For the 4th time in 18 months, the Youth Development Program interviened in the Lalbagh park during its flower show, on January 25th and 26th.
The Keep lalbagh Clean aims at rising awareness about the littering problem Bangalore is facing. This year, more than 1500 participants joined the YDP-Bangalore team of 60 volunteers and we collected more than 8.000 litres of trash in the Park. An estimated 90.000 visitors heard our message of concern and got the chance to reflect on their habit to fill-up the city with their personal trash.
A more detailed activity report about this action will be available soon. Thank you so much to all the courageous volunteers who joined us during these two days.
