Updates on Work Camps of FSL India (November and December 2011)

FSL India organises Work Camps throughout year with a view to increasing social, cultural, educational and environmental actions in the rural and urban areas. Both International and local volunteers participate in the Work Camps which offer opportunities to volunteers to learn local culture and values for life through cooperative actions and community services. With an objective to make an assessment of progress made, impact created and changes brought about in social development and education projects, FSL India organised a three-day Mid-Term Evaluation of Weltwarts/IJFD  volunteers. The participatory evaluation was held between 21st and 23rd March 2012. A total of 34 Weltwarts/IJFD volunteers representing AFS, IJGD and YAP-CFD participated in the Mid-Term Evaluation. LTV Get-together at Kundapur

Monthly LTV Get-together for the month of March for the volunteers of Kundapur zone was organised on 15th and 16th March 2012. It was organised at Silver Sand Beach Resort, Malpe in Udupi district. FSL India team of Kundapur headed by the Chief Coordinator of LTV Program facilitated the get-together. In early March 2012, FSL India received another batch of 9 new volunteers from 4 countries for long-term volunteering.
