The second Quarterly Evaluation for Weltwärts volunteers has been organized at Simha Farms. It was 3 days of seminar held between 23rd to 25th of March. 27 Volunteers from different projects has been actively participated and shared their experience. Along with volunteers, 15 staffs were joined together, in that 3 new staffs were also included to have a knowledge about this special event. Already all these pax been spent more than 7 months in India. So this seminar was conducted in a way to provide platform for their experience sharing, analyze their personal development, to think about implementing BMZ goals and to get motivation for rest of the period. Place: Silver Sand Beach Resort, Malpe

As the hot summer is hitting the coastal Karnataka, we have once again got together on the beach..this time at the Silver Sand Beach Resort at Malpe. This is a private beach resort beside wide range of sea shore with more privacy. Since long time, it was quiet a big group with 17 volunteers and 4 staff.
I am Ravi kiran. Recently joined as a LTV coordinator for the North Karnatka Zone. I have done my Bachelor in Commerce. I am from Kota, 11 kms away from Kundapura towards South. My home is on the Sea shore, and my favorite pass time tis to watch the beautiful Arabian Sea. And myself, I am very much interested to learn different culture, to meet people from different counties…. I am very thankfull to all my FSL team members for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to work with international volunteers.
This month FSL India has welcomed 17 volunteers from 4 different countries…There were 2 separate orientation programs held for Denmark pax and rest of the volunteers. It was held between 7th to 16th of March at the new ‘Guest House’.

Looking back to your expectations and goals, would you like to comment on your overall experience here?
-My project was pretty much as I expected it which is good. I didn’t expect to meet so many other volunteers which has been really nice! Also, I expected to learn more Kannada but i guess that is my own fault
The overall experience has been really good and i have learned a lot about India and myself.

-Before project I had many expectations like a can I teach something to children?
Beginning was hard teach to them. I didn’t know how to teach . But later I got used to do it, teaching English or Numbers.
