She suggested that on our weekrnd offs we go teach a few basic IT skills to the blind. I would like to say jumped at the opportunity but not until I saw the details of the NGO and how pressing the need was did I convince myself(http://www.jaagore.com/project/technology-centre-blind). It's been almost 3 months there & has certainly been a very enriching experience both ways. They could do with more volunteers.
